On October 14, 2024, Your Way Forward (ACTO’s Michelle Choe & Kerr Harvey, and overall program lead Miriam Roger) presented on the Gender-based Violence Panel at the International Access to Justice Forum, hosted by Osgoode Hall Law School. Article – Accessing justice for victims and survivors of sexual assault and intimate partner violence (Victims of Crime Research Digest No. 17)

Your Way Forward staff members were interviewed for a recently published article by Susan McDonald on access to justice for survivors of sexual assault and intimate partner violence. Collaborative Presentation – Victims and Survivors of Crime Week 2024

On May 14,  YWF presented alongside our inspiring fellow Department of Justice-funding recipients RISE P.E.I. and Rise Women’s Legal Centre out of B.C.. Our presentation introduced our respective independent legal advice & representation projects for survivors of gender-based violence. We shared about the importance of survivor-focused advocacy and the power of doing this work in collaboration with other service providers.
